Everything someone does that they don’t WANT to do, is an act of love.

Every time someone puts themselves out to do anything for someone else, is an act of love.

Most/all of the tasks involved in keeping a house are NOT things that someone WANTS to do!

Most/all of the mundane tasks involved in keeping a family fed, clothed, and getting them to where they need to be, are NOT things that someone WANTS to do!

Most of the tasks involved in going out to work, are NOT things that someone WANTS to do!

What people WANT to do is lounge in bed, read a book or watch their favourite TV show without interruption, go for a walk, paint a picture, socialise with people, or multiple other activities that they enjoy.

What most people DON’T want to do is scrub pots and pans, shop for toilet roll, peel and chop vegetables, wipe down the kitchen table, vacuum the carpets, etc etc etc.

What most people DON’T want to do is spend long stressful hours every week commuting to their job and home again, dealing with irritable clients, customers or just the general public, answering to a disagreeable boss, coping with annoying work colleagues, doing work that is boring, overwhelmingly stressful or physically exhausting.

But they do them anyway, as multiple acts of love towards their family, EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Remember that, and thank ALL family members for their acts of love, EVERY SINGLE DAY… <3
