A Child’s World examines the development of children between the ages of 2 and 12. Focusing on behaviour and the mind, it charts the achievements that mark the journey to becoming a fully-fledged person. Beautifully illustrated with full-colour photos, the book examines how children gain a sense of self; navigate the social world; learn the vital skill of lying; make sense of the physical world; come to understand life, death and sex; and, finally, reach full independence.
This is a second-hand book: hardback version, but pretty good condition. I used to use this as a library book for my course attendees to borrow, so there is a Property Of sticker inside the front cover. I haven’t removed this because the only time I tried, the book became damaged.
