Childbirth educators need to impart and facilitate knowledge and awareness to clients in preparation for pregnancy, labour and motherhood. This requires a holistic understanding of the whole childbearing experience, and a dynamic approach to sharing that knowledge. Written by an experienced National Childbirth Trust teacher, this unique book covers every aspect of antenatal and parentcraft education, emphasising group work and reflective practice. The practical approaches are given a sound theoretical underpinning, and the book is evidence-based and well-referenced.
This is a second-hand book: paperback version. Cover marked and creased, but otherwise fairly good condition. I used to use this as a library book for my course attendees to borrow, so there is a Property Of sticker inside the front cover. I haven’t removed this because the only time I tried, the book became damaged.
